I knew I needed to lose weight for two years before I tried The Center for Medical Weight Loss (CMWL) program. Besides having health issues, like high blood pressure, I couldn’t keep up with the kids or do a lot of things I liked to do because of the extra weight. I would get short of breath just going up the stairs, much less going for a walk. I knew I needed to make a change in my eating habits to improve my overall health. I also didn’t like the way I looked when overweight.
Before CMWL, I had tried Weight Watchers, Atkins, and even starving, and none of it worked for me. It was very frustrating to not see results, or to lose weight only to regain it. My primary care physician, Dr. Fignar, told me about the CMWL program, and I trusted him to help with my weight loss goals.
Losing Weight Each Week
My weight loss journey with CMWL has been awesome. Thanks to Dr. Fignar and his team, I lost 39 pounds in three months on the CMWL program. Each week I am still losing weight instead of gaining. I am not on a roller coaster of weight loss and weight gain anymore. It feels great.
My main challenges while following the CMWL plan were getting myself to exercise and looking at foods differently. But the CMWL program got me motivated and showed me that I can lose the weight by teaching me healthier eating habits and how to make better choices.
