When I arrived at the Long Island Weight Loss Institute/Center for Medical Weight Loss (LIWLI/CMWL), I was about 180 pounds, with elevated blood pressure and cholesterol. Weight Loss at Any Age

At the age of 57, I truly thought that there was so way I could lose weight at my age. I thought the body just settled down and that was it. I was miserable. When I read about CMWL and all of the success they have had, I thought I would try again. I was impressed from my very first visit. A Sense of Increased Confidence

Keeping the weight off is a psychological struggle – there’s no denying that. But now that I am armed with the information and the support that I get from CMWL, I feel more confident. I recently won a prestigious award and had to go on stage to accept it. A few years ago, I would have been terrified. That’s not the case now! I walked up to the podium and felt very special not caring that all of the eyes in the room were on me.
