INGREDIENTS
1 store-bought pizza dough (about 5 oz, or roughly 320 calories total), proofed and formed per instructions on package
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 onion, thinly sliced
2 tbsp dried thyme
4 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper
2 medium tomatoes, sliced
½ head romaine lettuce, shredded
4 tbsp light balsamic dressing
PREPARATION
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Put olive oil into pan over medium heat, add onions, and cook until caramelized, about 10 minutes.
Place dough on baking pan or pizza stone; add cheese, onions, thyme, and salt and pepper. Bake 15 to 20 minutes depending on oven and desired crispness.
While pizza is baking, place lettuce in four bowls. Top with tomato slices and drizzle each with light balsamic dressing. Serve salad alongside pizza.
